Sorry for the delay...No, It's actually Grazzanise, Italy (LIRM). Yeah, they were reporting dew point of mid 80s there, hence the high heat index. Sounds like a couple of airport stations need some adjustments reporting dew points too high.

Grazzanise is near Naples, about 600 km south.

Ferrara is usually a steamfest in the summer. The Po is nearby and there is no wind at all to reduce the humidity. It's also super foggy in winter. One of the most humid places I've been to. Nice castle, too.

Current temps. Heat shifted East for sure and squashed down and ironically we're getting the heat now in the Northeast U.S

Ferrara is also close to the Po Delta and to all the swamps surrounding it, that place can be a hellhole in summer especially for someone who can't stand humid weather like me
