50 km is not that far and you have plenty of beaches in beautiful Greece
Greece is a subtropical paradise. But "futur-summer" there is EXTREMELY HOT HOT

Well, not really.

I mean, it's gonna cool down a bit to high 20's / low 30's (normal here) but rise again during the weekend. At least it was the case for here and for home back in Lyon (with higher temperature swings overthere obviously). Stick to the mountain Urania !

So it's official now, Kitzingens 40,3°C/105.54°F is the new German temperature record.
The old record was 40,2°C in Karlsruhe, Freiburg and Gämersdorf.

Yes, looking at the weather forecast the high temps won't change so much, but the low ones seems much better (20-21°C in Turin instead of the 24-25°C of these days, here from next Thursday all the lows are below 20°C). If it starts to cool down a bit during the night the situation starts to be much more supportable, at least it will be easier to sleep at night

Just got email from my farmer friends in Bavaria... they are having one of the best harvests ever... the warm weather has resulted in bountiful and early harvests.
