It turned out it was cheaper for my family to visit Myrtle Beach than the Jersey Shore during the summer. I stay at the Caribbean Resort when I go to MB. I have family there too but would prefer to stay in a hotel if financially feasible.
Interesting. Yeah, I don't think cost would be a serious issue for me. Time sort of is, but that could be worked out. I just don't have anyone else seriously interested in joining me at the moment.
Jersey Shore is a lot cheaper, but I take day trips.

I might take a day trip this summer. Haven't been to the shore in years. Staying there overnight is too expensive.
Save that for nighttime, when it's cooler. I'd only run the fan in the daytime if the indoor temp rises higher than the outdoor temp (blowing out.) When it's cooler outside, reverse the flow - get that cool air in...lol.
I know, but it gets stuffy without any airflow, I had them them blowing earlier higher, which was a mistake. Now I just have the one next to me on low. Might be an annoying night to sleep, haven't had many hot indoor temperatures yet this summer.

I would have closed my window and just left the fan on to at least move the air around. Hate the stale air though.
Cigarette smoke wafting through your window at home is the worst. Don't encouentering outside on the street; it's brief but when it's home it feels like an invasion of personal space.
Quitters Inc is an interesting short story by Stephen King.
