I've been in temperatures far below 0 F before and I felt much more comfortable than I did at 95 F or 100 F....I'm much more comfortable at 15 F than I am at 90 F.
I think you missed the part where I said my ideal temperatures were 60 to 80. Not 90 or 90+. A 60-80 F range may be "too hot" to you, but the vast majority of people find 72 F more pleasant than 15 F. You must be very unconventional.
Well, both Alaska and Arizona are reliably conservative states. Likewise, Hawaii and Minnesota are reliably liberal states. Maybe you could say liberals like rain? That would explain the northeast and the northwest, but it doesn't explain Alabama...
