I've been wearing my winter coat the last few days even though it's been about 13C
Was feeling too cold in just a hoody, and I walk back from uni library sometimes in the later evening when the sun has gone down. Heating difference between buildings and outside is annoying though, so I just wear a t shirt underneath otherwise I sweat too much inside

Yeah I hate that, always need to layer in the winter here.
I'm wearing a cardigan for this weather (cloudy low 50s). Winter coat unlikely to be used until November at the earliest unless we get a surprise cold snap in late October. It's just not cold enough.
Didn't bring a winter coat to Geneva because I couldn't find it while packing. I brought one hoody though. Should I buy one before visiting the mtns? We'll see... several thin layers would probably work just as well as two thck layers in low wind chills...

Same thing here. When it's cool and by cool I mean low-high teens C, the heaters are roaring in every building and everyone outside is dressed like they are on an antarctic expedition. Meanwhile I am sweating bullets every time I go inside. Every home, shop and restaurant is a sweatbox. It's madness.
And there is almost no wind ever so there is no movement of air if you open a window.

This is so legendary that I had to quote it. Owenc would be proud.
