Southern and western horizon is starting to come alive The lightning juice (better known as beer) is flowing freely.

temp 28.4C / dewpoint 17.6C on my station currently at 1:00am, rain has just started.

Get a load of this. Wow I am not going to bed tonight **** the world and **** my commitments, I am staying up all night drinking beer

Not a fan of rain in summer, but the odd thunderstorm is always nice!

BOM is actually mentioning "severe" storms in Sydney for today. If they say that, then something just HAS to happen. They seem keen on Melbourne getting storms aswell. Lets hope tomorrow ends up being historic.

Just saw a blinding flash outside my curtained off window!!! Time to go outside with my beer and live it up

Lightning all round, unreal. It's so humid outside, my doors and windows have fogged up. I went to my front door and stick my head outside, first thing I see is lightning, heading this way.

The thermometer at Renmark Airport has been saturated. Current temp at 3am is 23.4C with a dewpoint of 23.4C.

PWS has a temp of 23.9C, dewpoint 22.9C. Lightning moving in...

I had to see it myself to believe it. It is basically a sauna outside. Lots of lightning all round, still can see flashes to the NE and the rain is starting again.

My PWS at 4:00am is 23.6/23.0C 96% humidity
Renmark Airport 23.4/23.4C 100% humidity

I wanted to fill up my gas tank this afternoon... but no.. I turned right around when I saw how many cars were waiting. I'll do it tomorrow morning. Must be because of the snowstorm. Can't accuse people of being underprepared...
