Whiskey has given me a miserable feelings the morning after. I think the residual taste was a big part of that, though. Vodka, I have had several bad experiences with. However, I wouldn't say the feeling is as bad.
Yeah, a Whiskey hangover isn't too great either, admittedly. I find Whiskey is easier to drink on the rocks than Vodka though.

Have any of you tried pure alcohol? That is really out of any proportions. And dangerous too.
Rectified spirit is sold here, but it's hard to find. The most popular brand is Everclear (95% ABV). I've only seen it at a liquor store once. Didn't buy it that time. I returned to that same store at a later date and they didn't have it any longer.
It is probably the cheapest way to drink, looking at it in terms of cost-per-alcohol ratio. I definitely wouldn't drink it straight though.
Only 35 F / 2 C here, but very sunny. And even though there's still snow on the ground, I'm reminded of spring. Dreadful feeling. Tomorrow will be even worse. Even had to capture & flush a ****ing stinkbug this morning.

Occasionally we used to have a few mouthfuls of Bacardi breezer or wkd (in a 300ml bottle), so there would be space for a shot of pure ethanol in the bottle. Only for pre-drinking. It was quite a kick, similar to drinking absinthe or over proof rum.

Not me, the most I drank was 49.9%
