Adam Dunn hit really towering homeruns, not as much distance as Stanton but way more height. Jim Thome is another name, he made Target Field look small. You could also say Nelson Cruz, Josh Hamilton, and prime A-Rod. A-Rod still has the most raw power on the Yankees sadly

True that, I had forgotten Jim Thome. Also, Manny Ramirez used to hit some bombs, he's hit like four or five 500 foot homeruns in his career! Mark McGwire was another guy who would hit the ball a mile. Sammy Sosa would hit the ball ridiculously far too. You remember Wily Mo Pena? He wasn't very prominent, but damn that guy had some huge power when he would hit home runs.

A-Rod even at 40 years old can still hit some absolute bombs. The homers he would hit last year and this year have amazed me. Truly a remarkable player. I don't give a **** about steroids tbh.

BTW - It's really cool to have another baseball fan on this forum.

Ah, well Louisville certainly has no shortage of them. I heard a few distant rumbles of thunder this evening and got 0.05" of rain. Nice weather overall.

The Heat lost at home today, but they still have a chance to get back to the Eastern Conference Finals.

Do you think they have a shot beating the Cavs?

Yeah, he struck out a lot but when he made contact you know it would go a long way. More players like that are Juan Francisco, Wladimir Balentien, and Russell Branyan. Balentien was terrible here but has a lot of success in Japan, he broke the Japanese home run record a couple of years back. Branyan was quite the Yankee killer back in 2009 and 2010, every series he would hit one or two homeruns against us. Smashed one into the upper deck even

Of course, always good to meet another baseball fan here
