Well, when you get below a certain latitude, some summer humidity is inevitable. Here we had low humidity the first part of June. And Kentucky is pretty far west of you and north of the Gulf, so it seems not unusual for them to get high humidity.

I dont know why yours guy sometimes say that its very cool,or are having a cool summers,its even good,at yours latitude in Southern Hemisphere temperatures like that would be called as Heat Wave.
