Maine getting wintry stuff from it and a new MCD is out for ice now.. This storm has it all! Too bad it's heavy rain only here. I'm under the yellow blob down there.
Freezing Rain. The Orange is sleet. But don't go by that. Here are the actual reports to see what is actually falling. ? is unknown but most likely sleet.
32 in Worcester so its Ice there right now. +8C at 4000'! Wow!
We got exactly how much lightning I expected. And there was a band of rain that lasted about 5 minutes. Now temperatures are falling and it looks like the rest of the evening will be drizzle turning to snow.
Storm over Ohio now and the freezing line at 4500' is well north into Canada.
Northeast Mountains are above freezing except for northern Maine
Tornado in Virginia
700mb Temps: 9000 feet
It's Above freezing even at that level even over the Adirondacks. So definitely raining on the peaks there.
