I used to think the 'real feel' was the temp taking into account the wind chill.

But why would the 'real feel' sometimes be higher than the temp?

sometimes (I use "accuweather" as my site) there is as much as 10 degree difference between the two.
I just don't know which to go by when I am deciding what to wear.

I think humidity also has to do with 'real feel'?

Yes, humidity does makes it feel hotter.

22C and RH of 90% would feel like 25C to me. Whereas a very dry, windy 22C could feel like 17C.
