Here in my valley (@6:45 PM)
11.2°C=52°F, partly cloudy. Today's high 12.9°C=55°F, last night low 4.8°C=41°F. This morning I left my house at about 7:30am, and on the ground there was a really really thin frost (the first serious frost is forecast for next Wednesday).
in Turin (Giardini Reali weather station, in the city center):
13.2°C=56°F, partly cloudy. Today's high 17.9°C=64°F, last night low 6.2°C=43°F.
Actually I felt colder in Turin than in here because in Turin there is a weird limitation on the use of heating plants. In practice they can't switch the heating on earlier than the 15th of October, which means that in some parts of my university there are 15°C or so even indoor (indicative value, more or less 60°F) . I live at an higher altitude instead, and so we can use our heating plants when we want.
same thing here, kinda feels at cold at home, we have to wait until next week-end in theory (when warmer comes back infact)
13°C, overcast at 14.39. Another ugly, incredibly cold day.
This is the coldest day of the last 16 years for early October, and the second coldest of the last 40 years.
Yesterday 60 to 90 mm of rainfall fell in the city.
