Can't seem to get over this cold a week and counting with it....
For probably 2 weeks now I've been having occasional throbbing pain around my eyes, which is hopefully attributable to sinuses. This week I've also had some moderate congestion and an overall feeling of fatigue, so I might have a long lasting cold like you. But the persistent headache is rather unusual.
I had to go to this really silly party last night, which lasted from 18:00 to 20:00, and when I was leaving at the end (about 20:10-ish), that was the same time as everyone else, which means the parking area was as congested as all get-out. I got home at about 20:25, and keep in mind that I was still dressed in my daytime clothes. Note that I like to change out of them and brush my teeth and stuff a while before I go to bed so when it comes time, I can just get up from the couch, pee, and go to bed. So I got into the bathroom and did my 15-minute routine (changing and oral hygiene), and I was rushing around trying to get all my other stuff done so I could get to bed at normal time, which I narrowly was able to do, but I wasn't at all tired at the time. So I sat there in bed for an hour before I finally fell asleep at about 22:00.
I slept okay, but then I woke up to my alarm at 05:24 this morning really groggy. I'm better now, but last night was not fun.
And yesterday wasn't the only long day of the week - today I have a dentist appointment at 15:50 (about 45 minutes after I get out of work), which means today's another day that runs two hours longer than usual. Yaaay.
At least tomorrow (Friday) is a normal eight-hour day, and Saturday is my three-year Wikipedia editing anniversary!
