I guess maybe the deficits in empathy and sympathy that usually come with autism might have to do with them tending not to care about the lives of other people and their apparent xenophobia.
I've got no xenophobia.
Zero. Had the people coming to Sweden been irreligious or secular I could've cared less.
What a sad story. The city of Uppsala has recently got a large number of refugees, and of 788 registered over 100 are now heroin addicts. These people are not living on the street, and are supposedly guilty of 80% of property crime in the city. Most are between 16 and 20, but some might've lied about their age.
One may have very different views on the migrant crisis, but paying a load of money to be shipped to Europe, then rejected, and then being hooked up on heroin is nothing but sad.
Not here it isn't. IIRC, Leeds has around 225 refugees from Syria. Uppsala is quite a bit smaller than Leeds, so 788 is a lot.
If they have been rejected asylum, shouldn't they be sent somewhere else? I don't think they should allow failed asylum seekers to stay there, especially if they are causing a lot of problems. Those known to have committed a crime should be deported.

Has heroin addiction became a big issue recently in Europe? It has in the US, parts of New England are among the worst hit
The flow of heroin was destroyed when we invaded Afghanistan, but in the Nordic Countries subutex has taken over.

Deporting them as of now, but some are so hooked up on drugs that they cannot even stand up straight.

This is extremely surprising to me. While I am sure there are some refugees here and elsewhere that use drugs, this is the first time I've heard of drug addiction being an epidemic in a refugee demographic.
I find it quite logical. Human trafficers are persuading that go for Europe and pay a lot of money, but when you actually are there, you're rejected. You will be deported or you go underground. You have spent all of your and your family's money but cannot get refuge. If you've lost everything already, why not lose even more. And Scandinavian OC groups longs for these. More customers.

the pay to sneak over the border I associate with illegal central American immigrants, maybe Mexican. though many file for asylum but just stay illegally and find work off the books
