Daytime high of -2C on March 7, perennial snowfall that hardly has led to any sort of snow cover, and this comes after a mild February, whereas cold March spells always seems to be coming after cold winters. This is frankly not fun.

Northerly winds should be banned especially from March 1 onwards

My least favourite weather. Cold early spring rain and just above freezing. So crappy yucky patches of melting ice all over the place after last night's freezing rain.

Lahti is a city which grew tenfold with the evacuees from Finnish Karelia after WWII. It has no institutions of higher education and has a long history of social problems. Savonlinna (literally the castle of Savonia) is a peculiar anomaly, but it's most likely as it's a rail junction with links to Russia (where much of the drugs come from). Helsinki is up there of course as it's the best place to be a homeless drug addict.

Yes, the meth levels in Savonlinna and Lahti are of the highest in Western Europe. The cocaine levels again relatively low.

Seriously, some of the Australians on my university campus are just as loud as the American students.

Haven't worked out in about 10-12 days. Not even sure why, I'm not depressed or anything, just have been lacking motivation. Ahhhhh. I need to make up for lost time.

I've also had inordinate amounts of schoolwork and work in general. Luckily, I haven't been eating like ****, so I haven't gained a single pound.
