Someone who actually knows WTF they're talking about lol. Someone who studies weather/climate and is fascinated by it. Someone who takes the time out of their day to study models and look at forecasts. Things like that....lol
Hey dunno, you believe the second Scottish referendum will happen? I have a sneaky suspicion the Tories + Lib Dems will block it in the Commons and use it as a stick against Corbyn to say he's not standing up for the union?
As for belonging in the unhappy thread, I think the SNP behave like spoilt brats. Scotland is like a poor man's Norway yet their government pretend to be this big thing that everyone should listen to.
Hope Spain shuts them down from EU membership if they became independent, imagine that meltdown?
It doesn't even go through the Commons. On this matter the Prime Minster alone decides whether or not it goes ahead. At least that's my understanding of it, I don't recall Westminster passing an act for the last Scottish referendum. Theresa May can just point to the fact that polls are consistently showing that most people in Scotland don't want another referendum, the last one was bitter and divisive.
The SNP would ask for a referendum with or without Brexit, it's the entire purpose of their existence. They always talk about independence in order to distract away from their terrible record in government.

I think it will.
Scotland's economy isn't doing so well right now due to the decline of oil prices, and this never-ending 'will they won't they' drama is making Scotland an unattractive place to invest.
Plus, if they vote to stay but by a very narrow margin like Quebec did in 1995, it will probably result in an exodus of businesses from Scotland to the rest of the UK, because businesses won't want to be located in a place that is constantly threatening to secede every 3 years because things didn't go their way.
Personally, I hope they leave. I am getting sick of hearing about Scotland.
The forecast lommaren posted wouldn't be that rare here in summer.....especially during late July/August.
I'd imagine the Keys are a bit milder during summer too, whereas Miami carry a greater continental influence during that season due to the landstrip to the west and more land to its north.

"Knowing what you're talking about" isn't exactly black or white. I don't really know where I fit in there if you phrase it like that, and I certainly hope I'm not too annoying in the way you guys are talking about. I mean, I know a few things about climates, weather and why this and that happens, but I certainly don't know everything about it; a lot of you know more than me, but then again, I certainly don't know nothing about it.

lommaren's forecast had a mean of above 85.5 (the mean of the hottest month in Miami's history) so though it would be possible if it ocurred over a long period of time record heat. Akin to saying this is the "typical" Miami winter forecast. Also, just to clarify to lommaren, Key biscayne is not in the keys.
