That's certainly apparent, and one of our fundamental points of disagreement.
I find this way of thinking to be nihilistic. I find that ethnic pride/identity/loyalty is a natural human inclination (the evidence for this abounds, and you even seem to acknowledge it based on the behaviors of white Brits in reaction to increasing cosmopolitanism), thus I do think that "nihilism" is appropriate here. You might ask why these things matter. Well, I think if they're natural inclinations, they've probably evolved for a reason - and like many other natural drives, they tend to be rewarding to the individual. For example, collective successes can be a source of pride for the individual. Plus, it is psychologically healthy*. You can negate all that, in a nihilistic fashion, but then you also might ask why you should have any particular loyalty to your family, or why it is better to be moral even if it does not directly benefit you, etc.
A meta-analyses of 46 studies reviewing ethnic-racial affect has found that the more positively minority youth feel about their ethnicity or race, the fewer symptoms of depression and behavior problems they have. Youth with positive ethnic-racial affect had better self-esteem and had fewer problems with drugs or alcohol. Together, the studies looked at African American, Latino, Asian American, Pacific Islander, and American Indian youth in the United States, primarily middle and high school students.
These studies examine "minorities" but it is quite obviously applicable to whites as well.

I really don't see how it is disputable that your power as a group is driven by your #s. You only mentioned another exception, but that's precisely what it is - an exception. Not the rule! Anyway, South African whites are not ethnically homogenous, and they do not have the same levels of success in that society post-Apartheid. The Afrikaners are worse off than English South Africans, and there is still plenty of animosity between the 2 ethnicities.
Same here. However, there were practically no questions about age, laziness Facebook, living and working arrangements, which is what most crusty old badgers lambast the young generation about.
I also got 14%. Being under 21 makes me ineligible to answer some of the questions. But I'm afraid taking Buzzfeed quizzes ups one's millennial stereotype percentage.
I got 27% and I'm not a Millennial. I hate to be put in that group.
