34 and overcast. But NO WIND. Makes a big difference, I was out for awhile in just shorts and a t-shirt. Felt like mid 50s.

I see why its overcast... Nice snows happening well SW & S of you. You're on the northern fringe. Are you getting a piece of this tonight?

Anyone know the count we're up to now with snow events since Thanksgiving for the Ohio Valley/Northeast regions? Active!

I see how its moving now..

Not a Feb 2015 but typical.. 1-2 weeks below normal then pattern relaxes and the SE ridge flexes. Record cold to record warm?

Seems about 50-50 now. If anything, probably only 0.5" of so. Might be more favorable for me as I'm a bit southeast of the city.

For it to be record warm here it has to top 80. If only.... Anyways high today was 55, average December day. Month so far a bit under 2 degrees below average. Nothing major.

Almost as impressive as the three straight years of endless warmth that they had

Today we hovered around 1-2c all day long with 100% Relative humidity and foggy / misty conditions. It's been a long time since I have felt so cold, even with several layers of clothing the intense humidity always cuts through clothing, there's not much to do. Too bad there's no reverse humidex because it almost felt like -10c at times, I could not stop shaking. We should actually turn colder in the next few days, hopefully the negative lows should dry the atmosphere a bit and give more chance for possible sunshine ?

Permanent cold and clouds and no snow, this type of cold we get now is as uncomfortable as it is useless for cold lovers.
