It looks rather normal me? Apparent temps can be a 1C-3C lower (or higher) than the actual temp.

Look at Sydney Airport's apparent temp rather. It's 5C lower than the actual temp. Now that's not too realistic.

It's all to do with the wind speed.

My point is that 31c with a 20c dew point does not feel less than 31c.

But you gotta consider they include wind speed for apparent temperature, it's not the same as a heat index.

^Yeah, that could be the reason.

That's definitely the reason why, I just find it doesn't correspond very well with how I perceive the 'feels like' temp. Over 30 wind doesn't cool me very much. Do you know if sun is factored also?

Today was a sunny 26C with extremely low humidity/dewpoints. Very satisfying.

Maybe it does. If it isn't shining and if the wind speed is strong it can feel cooler than 30C. But I don't know.

Strong southerlies yesterday and still today. Where I am they blow in the opposite direction of the river currents, which are strong atm due to high flows. First time I saw breakers on the Murray River Not proper surf breakers, but these were pretty big waves for a river!

Models downgraded to only a brief couple days of heat before the next ****ing polar southerly onslaught. Makes me sick seeing all the heat in the Kimberley and northern WA /NT go to waste

Flew into Uluru yesterday. So bloody sunny and dry. My lips have become all crusty...

Very pleasant temps though
