50s in Buffalo and Rochester, mid-30s here. I'm used to it by now. The warmth is pretty much everywhere, except for here. The average high at this point is 45F so we're almost 10F below average. As usual. I'm used to it by now

I couldn't figure out why it was in the 30s here in the afternoon of March 26th. It's not cold at the mid levels (5C at 850mb), there's no trough in place, no Upper low.... It can't just be clouds....

Well below normal from Maryland to Maine. Not in Pittsburgh though...

Then I added the surface winds onto the map and said..... Ahhhhhh, theres why. Thanks Atlantic Ocean.

What good is that damn Atlantic Ocean for again? Backdoor cold fronts in the spring, hurricanes in summer/fall and noreasters in the winter/spring.

Oh yeah, it keeps us a few degrees warmer than inland areas during the coldest times.

It's really more trouble than it's just worth.

From November 26th. There must of been a reason I mentioned this. As if I was scared it would happen again. lol

December has had more snow than March only 7 of the last 18yrs.

Snowier March than December in recent times

The normal snowfall is the same for both months. 5.1"

What I see when looking at this forecast.

Monday-Thursday-Friday-Saturday we wake up in the 30s and most of the day is in the 40s. Are we done yet?

At least we got Tuesday & Wednesday

I'm currently under a tornado watch. Let's see if anything comes with it. There was a light rain shower earlier today here, on the southern edge of a severe thunderstorm.
