Hot here today through Thursday, mid-upper 80's with around 90 possible on Thursday inland and lower- 80's here at the coast. Pattern change after that though, front moves through on Friday and the GFS has temps dropping to the lower-mid 50's. Right now the GFS is also showing record breaking cold for here the 15-17th (upper 40's) not likely to happen though obviously.

Hottest day of the year so far here is 85F, 88F inland.

Its April and I been lighting the wood stove for heat as if its February. WTF.

50s finally this week but GFS says even warmer next week.

This is 6hr max April 12th evening.

No thanks. That sort of weather can wait until May. Be careful what you wish for.

Warmer-than-normal April ahead | WGN-TV

GFS alone is a little different than the above graphic over the next two weeks. Bastardi thinks a big trough for the East in the 16-20 day period

Azaleas are in full bloom in town today, it honestly the most gorgeous sight to see. I'm in Wilmington now and they are also in full bloom here, absolutely gorgeous and breathtaking. You haven't lived life if you have never seen town when Azaleas are in full bloom.

Up to 51 with sunshine now. Looks like a nice day. It fell to 30 this morning but it hasn't been in the 20s since March 23.

Supposed to get 60s the next 2 days and mid to high 60s at the end of the 10 day

A rare high risk has just been issued. Alexandria is by the southern edge of it.

The last time this was issued was during the Georgia outbreak back in January. Prior to this the last time was back in 2014. I think the last time it was issued here was in 2005.
