Today's highs and heat indecies across the metro area. Far Northshore will be lake cooled, with the city airports in the low to mid 80s, while and western and southern suburbs by me in the upper 80s and low 90s
Dew points today... Upper 60's in the city, and low to mid 70s in the suburbs
NAM has heat index on Thursday reaching 110F at IKK. Damn that would be impressive.

Yes they are ideal if you want to stay indoors 24 hours a day in an air conditioned room.
Not really though. Average high is 89F in July. That's not excessive at all, and for me that's ideal summer like temps... I just like the fact that St Louis because they can get really hot much more often than Chicago.
Well he is used to much cooler summers since he lives in Seattle

Temp, dewpoint and associated clouds this past Sunday on the beach at New Jersry shore. Felt very warm and humid.
