Wow, surprised to see such warmth forecast for St. Louis, a good bit warmer than here. We haven't even been past 94F, but maybe we will break it later this week.

We haven't reached 100F since 2015.

They can get so hot in the summer....

Meanwhile very warm and muggy here.

Excessive heat warnings downstate; 100 to 110-degree heat indices; air quality declining in Chicago; building warmth/humidity threatening new t-storms/possible flood threat | WGN-TV

Today's highs and heat indecies across the metro area. Far Northshore will be lake cooled, with the city airports in the low to mid 80s, while and western and southern suburbs by me in the upper 80s and low 90s

Dew points today... Upper 60's in the city, and low to mid 70s in the suburbs

NAM has heat index on Thursday reaching 110F at IKK. Damn that would be impressive.

Yes they are ideal if you want to stay indoors 24 hours a day in an air conditioned room.

Not really though. Average high is 89F in July. That's not excessive at all, and for me that's ideal summer like temps... I just like the fact that St Louis because they can get really hot much more often than Chicago.

What's with you and taking other people's preferences so personal? Lol.

Here it's 87 F with a 77 F dew point as of 10 AM, quite steamy!
