Cerro Catedral has winter highs below freezing :

Also an special climate to me is Balmaceda, it has the coldest record low between any town on the Southern Hemisphere and sometimes can get very cold days and blizzards, one example was the -14.1C/-27.7C in June 2002 with more than 1 meter of snow cover which has last for days.

That's enough thank you, I've been looking for a climate like that for a long time!

What is there to do in that town? I guess virtually nothing.

Soon to be the northernmost place with 10C highs in the coldest month. I think if you calculate 85-15 normals, it should be there. I was pretty sure that La Rochelle in France was the current northernmost place like that but looking at Wiki it says not. I clearly remember that it was last time I checked, maybe someone was ****ing around with the Wiki data
