Which cities/countries do you think that people often have misconceptions about the weather or climate? (winter, live)

That's estimated from gridded data, nearest official is Pershore which has 1536.9 hours. Also I don't live in the grid square that those averages are calculated from, I live in the more western one for Salford Priors.
LMAO, 205hrs for your sunniest month is definetly not what I would call sunny, especially at your latitude
Well you don't know what pre 4pm sunsets are like, I feel like I'm winning over the government when I choose my times. I wouldn't go on at people staying on GMT if the UK decided to abandon it.
Botev and I live in the Seattle area and our sun sets at 4:27pm today and in Warwick it's 4:02pm so only a 25 min difference, if you want more out of your day light just wake up earlier and go to bed earlier. Time is just a perception, it doesn't have to define your life. Of course if you have a messed up work schedule then that's a different story. For instance I work from 6am to 4pm and our sun is up between 7:57am and 4:27pm so I leave home at night and come home at night.
Shanklin still gets more sun than Blenheim in summer. 247.7 + 262.3 + 240.9 = 750.9 for Shanklin. 248.8 + 262.2 + 223.7 = 734.7 for Blenheim. So regardless of those pointless percentages, you can't deny that Shanklin gets 26.2 hours more sun than Blenheim in the summer, even though Blenheim's winters are a lot better.
Updated averages would reverse that, but I'll let that pass. Percentages are by no means pointless. You can have your 1923 "topper" (and don't start in on that Selsey crap again), I'll stick to NZ. Incidentally, your subtraction above is wrong.

But I instinctively look at the clock and think its only that time. In reality no one does what you say, when the clocks go back everyone goes on about getting that extra hour in bed - that's the hour of daylight you loose. I'd rather have the daylight in the evening where's it's more valued. I don't want my afternoon snack at 4 pm in almost darkness, I want it in bright sunshine like it is now.

Yes they are pointless. 100 % sun could be 1 minute or 24 hours of daily sun. 1% could be 0.24 hours or even less.
