No very cold weather for the next week for Indianapolis area either, The lowest TWC low temperature I have seen for the next seven days is like 18 F; hardly even cold by central Indiana standards, the DFW metroplex has yet to even see a low temperature colder than 20 F, many winters in North Texas see a handful of nights with low temperatures in the teens, will the winter of 2018/2019 be a winter without lows in the teens in Fort Worth? The jury is still out on that predicament. I’ll be satisfied if Indianapolis fails to see a low at or below zero this winter(Any winter that fails to reach 0 F is often considered “Mild” by Hoosier standards), will Indianapolis fail to reach 0 F this winter? That remains to be determined as of the latest extended outlook.
Metro Detroit continues with lack of snow and mild temps, by Michigan standards, around mid 30s. The news and radar claims a few scattered flakes but its warm enough to open a window for a nice breeze. Of course I will complain once the snow sets in but just where is it lol.
Great Christmas Day here in the Bay Area. Low 60s all around with sun and very light winds. But we're only at 75% of normal rain with very little expected over the next week.
Upper Low over Arizona and Northern Mexico.
Jet stream digging way down south
Surface storm getting its act together over New Mexico.
Everything is pushing East but warmth will be surging north first
Snowing in Northern Nebraska. Raining in Kansas.
Lake Ontario effect snows in Syracuse and Utica, NY
Freezing Fog in North Carolina
Heavy band of rain off Washington coast heading inland
