Here in northeast Georgia, temperatures were in the upper 70s with a light breeze yesterday afternoon, and there wasn't a single cloud in the sky. It was a beautiful day.

Maybe in the next 40 years when temps won't get below 30f anywhere in the U.S. i may move up there if i am still kicking at 95. True hell starts this week with 90's inland from me and that is the way it will stay until Dec. I would rather face death than deal with dews around 75 to 84f and lows around 78 to 84f that are coming soon. Once that gulf water soups up to 85f or more it will be a steam bath from hell mel. Enough to make any place in the world blush.

a rain soaked week coming but temps may reach the 70s away from the lake and in the southern suburbs near me

but overall next 8 days look to be below normal ending April and starting off May. As of yesterday, April is still +2.0F above normal at ORD.

So when will I need to turn on my AC? Not any time soon

Dews coming up fast. Sweated like a stuck pig getting the painted mount back together.

20F-30F temperatures are much more comfortable than 85F+ temperatures with dew points 70F+. I think you just like to complain.

How is it that Cuba would be any better than Florida? I know your answer is “there’s more rain,” which is strange because that rain just makes things even more humid.

Cuba does not have a reverse west windflow like my coast does. They get much more rain and at least get more hurricanes by far than my area does. Plus the offshore fishing is much better with no rules and fish limits. Be my total dream place to live if they ever free it up and i can transfer my money over there.

I would not want to live in a place with 20-30f all winter. As much as i hate my weather i would hate that cold stuff even more.

You gotta understand what floats my boat and it is rough weather as i would love a hurricane every month of the year and living in FL since 1963 i have yet to have a real hurricane.
