Loss of daylight is starting to accelerate noticeably. While we've lost 23 minutes of daylight since the summer solstice, by comparison we'll lose 21 more minutes over the next 12 days to end the month, with sunrise falling back to 6:29 and sunset moving up to 8:45.
We're down about 20 minutes in the mornings and 10 minutes in the evenings. Up until this point the difference hasn't too noticeable but it's about to decline rapidly.
In the next month we will lose over an hour of daylight here compared the 30 minutes lost over the past month.
