yeah i've read all these cold warnings, but around here it's mostly gonna be mostly the lows. Highs seem on par with the usual average.

Which is gonna be great, today it's partly cloudy 18c with a 5c dewpoint and I wish it was more often like this, instead of the usual 14c dewpoint in october.

Of course half of the people is already wearing down jackets here.

We had our first sub-10C / 50F high today, as high was 8.4C / 47F.
Last day that happened (high below 10C) was 5 months ago, on May 13th.

Cold air has moved in to stay for some time, all week is forecast to be sub 10C days.
No freezes so far and none in the forecast.

That's very chilly! Some signs of a pattern change here by early November. Maybe we will right into winter with early cold and snow?

Btw this the winter as shown by the latest Euro and also the analogs years. Euro showing blocking with warmer temps north and normal temps throughout the continent but the analogs are showing a colder continent

we've hit 30c about 80 days this year, I would say I'm glad we're having nice cool sunny weather before everything gets cold and damp and overcast again.

Also so great having cool and dry weather. Almost never happens in that season.

That said, I would definitely like a colder than average winter, I want so see more snow than last year, which was pretty poor. Only January was cold-ish.
