-10!! No way! Not unless its atop the mountains in Scotland? I'll believe it when I see it. Where did you get that from George? There has to be a mistake surely? When is this supposed to be happening?
No snow forecast for the climate conference in Glasgow! Not at the moment anyway. I don't know for sure but -10 in Glasgow in November would surely be some kind of record?

I just saw that article on the twitter feed. Don't know if they were over sensationalizing or not. GEFS does show below average conditions for the British Isles in the 6-10 day

I don't think the weather will turn sub-zero though George, certainly not minus 10, maybe at the top of the Cairngorm mountains its dropping to freezing by November
Londons 'average' November highs are 12 and lows are 7, the week they're talking about it seems to be 11-14 highs and 5-8 lows so perhaps a bit below 'average' for the start of November?
For Glasgow its 9-10 and 4-6, the 'average' for November for Glasgow is 10 and 4, so again perhaps a little bit 'below average' for the start of November but nothing too unusual.
Perhaps they're talking about the mountains in the highlands?

Yeah as far as I can see, the start of November looks slightly below average, but nothing remotely abnormal or particularly cool for the time of year in the slightest.
