I would hate to experience 38 days above 95 F. Yuck .
Answer the question though.

93 with feels like 108 or 106 with feels like 108?

Palm Springs and Vegas will actually be hotter than Phoenix today. Palm Springs will be 118, Vegas 114, and Phoenix will be 112.

Sacramento will be 109. LA will be 96, one of the hottest readings for LA so far. SF will be in the 80's, warm for them but a cool down from yesterday.

The most impressive reading? Redding, CA will be 109 today. Redding is at the same latitude as the Midwestern US, around the same as Pittsburgh, PA. One of the hottest locations at that latitude on the planet, consistently. It also has an impressive rainy season in the winter. It's the "most classic" Mediterranean climate in the world.

These are the days that the beaches in Southern California would be crowded but maybe not due to COVID.

I was at Stinson Beach just north of SF yesterday and it was packed. 80s at the coast, 105 inland.

93 but feels like 108. If it feels that hot I’ll get a thunderstorm within a few hours to knock temps down to around 80 for rest of the day. A high of 106 with feels like of 108 probably means the heat isn’t going away soon.

It got up to 102F/39C today here. Slight chance it could get a degree or two hotter, but even if it only stands at where it is then it will be the hottest day here since 2015. Decided to go out to check the mail in it and yeah it certainly feels pretty toasty.

106f Redding
106f Sacramento
111f Vegas
111f Phoenix
102f Fresno

This makes no sense.
Are the Sierra Nevadas blocking out the heat towards me or what.

Ah I love Stinson Beach, I used to play volleyball on the beach there. Did you go in the water or just suntan on the beach?

I predict a COVID rise soon...
