Yesterday's high was 70F here and 71F at both Chicago airports under sunny skies. The wife and I did a lot of gardening .

Might see some showers later this evening with a threat of rain over the next week or so. Could hit 80 by Wednesday away from the lake

Warm up to continue to gain steam over the next 2 weeks

Today could be the last sub 80 day in a while. Upper 70s. 80 tomorrow. Looking warmer for next weekend up into the upper 80s. Haven't really gotten close to 90 yet which is fine with me

Looks quite wet for TX & OK over the coming week and rainless over AL, GA, and SC.

Hoping heavy rainfall stays to my west; it's been pretty saturated here for weeks.

Forecast here has 80s Wednesdays through Saturday with the hottest being 85 F/29 C. I wouldn't be surprised if it gets hotter than that.

Going on 6 months this year and not even 5" of rain. I see nothing for weeks or even half of June if then. Like i typed over 1.5 years ago it was gonna be a super dry 3 years. Only had 30" last year and i am calling for even less this year.
