Quite an April snowstorm in Indianapolis! We got around 3 inches of snow. If that checks out as official at the NWS, it would be the biggest snowfall ever this late in the season. I do know the NWS reported 2 inches of snow last night and it was still snowing. So it's at least the 2nd biggest snowfall on or after April 20. Temperatures also dropped officially to 27F overnight setting a new record low.
After some sun this morning, rain moves back in this afternoon, mixed with snow and graupel at times. Could even hear some rumbles of thunder. Another freeze warning tonight as skies clear and temps are expected to drop to around 30.
Snow here as well 1-2'' range, it melted and compacted after falling overnight with marginal temperatures. I really have no idea the exact amount, it stuck to all the trees, some leafed out.
Saw that DFW tied their record low of 40°F yesterday, brrr
Hit 37 F this morning at DFW breaking the record low of 39 F set back in 1918.
