This is why I believe that the Midwest won't see a sustained return to warm conditions any time soon. Both the Euro and the GFS have a recurving typhoon







Right now I'm thinking the latest CFSv2 is closest to what will verify in the longer range. Maybe not cold enough even

Mean temperature for the first 17 days of this April in my town is 7.1c

Mean temperature in April in my town for 1981-2010 period is 11.9c / and for 1991-2020 is 12.5c

It's been a very wet stretch for the Gulf coast the past two weeks and also a number of severe storms. 10-15 inches of rain in SE LA and coastal MS & AL.

I've had 6.78" in my gauge during since April 7 (5.33" at Alexandria's airport).
