Was more humid the last couple of days. Had some afternoon thunderstorms and was more like a typical rainy season day. Will be drier the next couple of days but hotter. Highs going into the lower 90s and love bugs are starting to increase in numbers.

50s in May . Starting a fire for heat in the morning in May happens a few times, but starting it during the day? Not often. Todays gonna be the day without sun.

Looks like 40s and sun in Ohio and Indiana.

Reason why it's cold today (aside from the clouds here)

This............

Cold Canadian air at 10,000 feet keeping the surface cool. A Northwest flow above our heads

Here's 5000' temps.. Below freezing. It was hailing in NJ because of this cold air aloft. Not sleet.

West coast can't buy a drop thanks to a year round west flow we now have. Super dry dew here at 48f. It is making my skin dry. Could never live out west with sub 20f dews.
