This mornings temp (at 3am) was below freezing at 10,000' aloft over New England down to Long Island.

This is basically in record territory for Summer. Normal is +6C at this height (43°) for today.

Feels sticky outside this morning. Currently 69f with dew of 68 and 97% humidity. High 87f, low 70f. Looks like the next two weeks will be hot. For the first time yet this summer, the forecast is showing a few days going over 90f.

Latest GFS run for Chicago is on crack

GFS won't be right. Almost 100% sure that cold front to hit in the Northeast will impact us here and retrograde that heat dome back west where it's been for a +month

Pretty hot here the next few days. NWS forecasting 98F today and 99F tomorrow! Warmest so far this year has been 97F. Last time we hit 100F was September 2019.

Bet the dew points were not like mine at 81f and a high of 93f. Bet everyone would roll over and die if they had a taste of that in Cali.

I would love 50f but the weather there is too boring with not enough rain or hurricanes.
