Don't most Phoenicians go crazy for the monsoon season? I rarely see complaints about it.
I'm not the biggest fan of muggy 70s, but I'd take it over a July phx heatwave day.
I only think it's the break from the heat people like, more than being out in a thunderstorm or they don't think about how humid it gets during strong monsoon conditions
ORD's anomaly as of the 25th is -1.6F for the Means but -3.0F in average high. Looks like we'll cut down on some of that but likely still be about -1.5F below normal in average high temps when the month is over
Temps will be close to 90 for the high the next few days here in Indianapolis. This weekend was pretty typical summer, 88F both days with dewpoints in the low 70s. The dewpoint is a bit lower now, back into the mid-60s so the humidity won't be oppressive at least until Wednesday again. Thursday brings our next chance of rain and then Friday through the weekend looks very pleasant with highs around 80.
