4 days in a row the low was below normal. I'll take it! lol. The break felt great. Now the cold will be in the west and we warm up under the ridge here. :-(

Generally above normal temps




ORD has had 99 days at or above 80F this year so far. Will it reach 100 days? Midway airport has had 102 days. Latest modeling shows the Midwest will have "outlandish" warmth as put by Ben Noll so maybe not done with the 80s yet

”The warm” this time of the year isn’t that uncomfortable. In fact, it is a very comfortable warm. With the dreaded 4+ months of cold and snow on the horizon, I am not in too much of a rush to see the warm leave.

I love that area or at least back in the 70's and 80's on Lemon bay. I am sure it has changed since 1982. If you can live on Lemon bay you got it made.

Isn't Englewood a 65 and older community by default or just about?

I've been working to avoid the heat and humidity like the plague my entire life, so retiring in the Northwoods.
