I stay dry most of the year. Not even a 1" of rain since Dec. Maybe get some Sun with any luck.

There's conflicting reports and it's probably too early to tell but it seems to be the biggest eruption in decades; it may be the same order of magnitude as Pinatubo in 1991. Regardless, it's HUGE on satellite imagery. Check it out:

Had some heavy rain and gusty winds this morning with the cold front passing through. Is still cloudy but cool and windy out. Feels nice. Supposed to clear up and be sunny later.
