Wow, so cold in central/southern Yukon and Alaska today. The warm spot in the Yukon is -8.8°C at Komakuk Beach right on the shore of the Arctic Ocean.

Cold and cloudy today. Snow looks to stay south. If we get anything it'll be flurries this afternoon. 20F for the high today and tomorrow then 40F for both Saturday and Sunday, then back to 20F for Monday. Really strange pattern. Tonight will be the coldest temps of the season so far as lows are forecast to drop down to around 5F overnight with wind chill readings approaching -10.

Winter storm warnings down over Kentucky south of us and up along the eastern coast of Lake Michigan in southern Michigan for lake effect snow. Some places up there could get 12-16 inches of snow.

Looks like we're expecting a reasonable amount of snow tomorrow. Looks like 4-5" in Nassau County.

It is starting to snow very lightly here in Floyd County, IN at just under 900 ft. elevation. Temperature is 19F, so instantly accumulating. Not expecting much more than a few inches at most, but the high snow ratio/colder temperatures will at least maximize the limited moisture. Higher totals well off to the south.

Will be interesting to see the season snowfall map after tomorrow. There's gonna be a snow hole around Indiana, Ohio and Illinois

Cold here and waiting for the snow. Meanwhile...Spring in North Carolina & Virginia today.

Snowing here in the Indiana Uplands but not too much in terms of sizable amounts.
