Time to bump this thread for the third year in a row. Once again the West Coast gets hammered while nothing of note happens on the East Coast.

I wonder if it'll get cold enough for freezes in LA and SF.

Great list, thanks for all the work.

Anywhere east of the Great Divide is safe from all-time records IMO.

As usual folks in the Intermountain West and especially the PNW do all the heavy lifting while people down east in their coats and their ties are free to drink martinis and watch the sun rise

To watch a sunrise demands an arctic high. Gloom rules the skies where mild airs lie.

We got some nice sunrise yesterday morning but the clouds rolled in around noon and now it's once again overcast for the foreseeable future.

Not my fault you guys rely on the ocean too much to compensate for you higher latitude relative to the east coast. Hell some parts of Baja California (including Tijuana and Mexicali) are more north than I am, lol. I'm still amazed how Portland Oregon is farther north than Portland Maine with that climate.

Portland Oregon is 60 miles inland from the ocean. I'm sure that makes all the difference.
