Went down to Oakville/Milton and they overshot their forecast and hit 20-21C. I wonder if there's like a mini foehn wind effect when the wind is blowing from the West? Going from 1000ft+ down to 600ft, even <300ft elevation by the QEW. Seems like Oakville and Milton are often very warm on warm sunny spring days when the wind blows from the West. Happened last April too when Oakville hit 30.5C in my backyard.
