We had some severe thunderstorms roll through southeastern South Dakota. Jammie, did you get poured on? It was mainly a big lightning show here in Sioux Falls.

THUNDERSTORM POTENTIAL OUTLOOK

Thursday Afternoon: No storm chances on Thursday - a stable high pressure area is dominating.

Friday: Isolated thunderstorms are possible throughout most of the day thanks to a strong low pressure trough and lots of moisture. The best chance for any storms to develop is during the afternoon or evening thanks to heating and could be embedded in the rainband.

FURTHER OUTLOOK
Next Monday or Tuesday also holds the potential for thunderstorms. I am currently watching another trough that may affect Victoria with thunderstorms from about next Friday or Saturday.
