I know... I seen that on The Weather Channel too... a real mess. I cant believe the grip old man winter has on the country now... I mean freezing temperatures in Miami forecasted for Sunday morning? Wow.

We're done with our blizzard, but they had windchill warnings out. I don't know how cold it actually got last night, but windchill was minus 40 when I got up this morning. That's even cold for my area. Now it's heading east/southeast so look out if you live in that direction.

Seems to be a global thing this winter. It was snowing in Portugal today, at the coast, which is very rare. It is bitter cold in some parts of India, there is snow in Mexico. North-eastern Germany is like paralyzed, too much snow to handle for a region which seldom experiences snowfall.
Maybe we screwed up the climate and are now entering a new ice age ^^

I actually don't like it when it warms up too much (more than low 20s) in winter. I love bitter cold weather, except for the expense of heating my house! I'd be fine with it if temps stayed between 10 and 20 degrees for a couple of months. Once it's below freezing, I wish it would just stay there for the duration of the season. I know my flower garden prefers that!

There've been some treacherous driving conditions in my area the past several days, as a result of that brutal storm. I'll admit - that part's not fun.
