the £17.50 Adult one in Brighton allows you to travel as far as Lewes and Peaceheaven and its valid for night services too... on student pass you can travel to the same places but it's £12.50 :P But i cant use the student one yet because I dont have my uni card yet which is required for the student discount
We don't have night buses here either, the latest ones in the city run to is about midnight...
There are free student buses for the University of Portsmouth though, (as the Uni is spread right across the southern end of Portsea Island) & as most students live in this area too they can get around for no charge...
