Some one, TheoNorth (?), posted an email to my thread suggesting I contact QuilterChic. Hi, Van 012: It's nice that you contacted me, hope I can help you somewhat. If you are referring to true "chat rooms", I really don't know any. This forum is the only one I visit regularly, and being a retired Realtor, I find it rewarding to answer questions about the area if I can. Now that you have posted that you want to know about the area, you will also get other responses, people here are welcoming and friendly. Not only on CD here, but in the area.
If you respond with an outline of what you are looking for, I usually try to respond within a day or so, and others will too. Since the title of this thread is about "renting", I'm assuming that you may be looking to rent property here. So type up your list and post it for us. Area, size of house/apt/condo, children? Schools, activities you want? and so forth. And..... your budget.
