I'm looking to start my own business in the hospitality industry (b&b) and I was looking at Ashville NC because of it's beauty, four seasons and the year round attractions. What are some other cities/areas like that in the USA?
Any particular area of the U.S.? Weather is not at all the same in the western U.S. as it is here, so getting four seasons will depend a good deal on the where.
Well I'm looking for definitive four seasons, like Front Royal Virginia, preferable more south than north due to the living costs and the harsher winters.
Location: River's Edge Inn, Todd NC, and Lorgues France

The B&B martket is very competitive in Asheville. TripAdvisor says there are 42 of them there already.

It's not as scenic, but you might look at Franklin, TN and other towns around Nashville. Chattanooga is also very scenic and has fewer b&b's than Asheville.

Just read your posts in the SC / Charleston Area forum regarding building a "tiny home on wheels" and parking it on a farm and growing your own produce etc.
B&B vs. tiny home on wheels ? Total opposite starry eyed ideas.
For the amount of money it would take to buy a B&B, you could buy a pretty nice upscale motorhome, and travel the country when the wanderlust hits you.
Why ask in the WNC section where B&Bs would be successful other than Asheville? Most likely there's a B&B Assn or something similar that focuses on properties for sale, better locations, starting a B&B, etc.
