That's so premature, and jumps the gun. She has no documentation yet from BREMCO, only her word about telephone conversations. She needs to pursue her recourse through the company first. Get real!

This sounds like a scam to me! If someone called you and told you this, have you called the number printed on your bill?

My first thoughts is that this is a scam. Someone is wanting you to give them information over the phone. Electric bill scams are pretty popular right now, and a basic cheap search will populate some relatives names.

If it isn't a scam, get something in writing. Get a reply that states what they are doing. Post it on instagram, then call them and email them the link. It's cheap and effective. Usually you won't need a lawyer from there.
