"It wasn’t long ago that Asheville real estate was a hot commodity. Just over a year ago, Asheville was one of the best places in the country to buy a home. Fast-forward to today, and things have continued their progressive trend. Prices have been on the rise, albeit slowly, for quite some time. Of course, the most promising aspect of the Asheville housing market continues to be the influx of new buyers. Experts are expecting the population to rise considerably, and the area appears to have an equally impressive job supply. The culmination of these factors, and high affordability, will make the Asheville real estate market well worth looking into."
Well, I'm betting that it's probably true that I made a good investment in Asheville real estate. So, tell me do you own Asheville real estate? I'm thinking probably not.

Agreed w everything except for whats in bold.
Impressive job supply? High affordability? Not on what AVL jobs pay.
Lol, whenever I see articles like this, I think of similar ones around the country and nationally that were written back in 2005-2006. They seem to appear just before the freeze-up, or stagnation, prior to the decline. Time will tell, though. I tend to agree with NC Paddler that certain markets tend to hold up. They may have a little decline here and there, but not much.
It was published by a real estate investment and education company. Where do you see it is a 'builder' ?
Maybe you don't want to admit that the OP is a savvy investor? and has savvy consultants?
Well, if one doesn't know October is a good time to see fall leaf color, then one obviously has zero knowledge of the area, and really have no business commenting on anything.

High affordability for well-heeled outside investors, but probably not many existing locals.

From what I recall, courses in Micro and Macro Economics didn't require a course in Weather.
