If you bother to read the fine print on an application there is something along the line that you confirm the accuracy of your statement. Even a basic background check will bring this short term job to the surface.
That's the application, not the resume. Resumes are marking tools. They don't need to be 100% accurate.
If you honestly say the business company was not your cup of tea and wish to return to health care, I'm sure the health care company would understand.
I don't think leaving off a short term job would be found out. Unless they called the employer before that for a reference and they said, "I remember him, he was a great guy, did a great job. Hated to see him go to the ABC Company.".
just let me set the record straight here for those who aren't aware. There is an organization called the worknumber.com
I checked it out (it is not too intuitive and takes a bit to understand how to create an account) and it has on record every job/salary/timeline in my history. Even from another country where I worked for a couple of years. I was surprised.
So if they are aware of this organization, they will have everything on you. There is no privacy. Trust me, I'd be the first one to lie to the rats who act like they are the authority if I thought I could get away with it. I hate the corporate world. But they do have the upper hand, so if you want a job, you must play the game their way or start your own business and make your own rules.
